What happens when you get in touch with us?

Initial Consultation/ Needs Assessment

First things first.  We start with an initial consultation. I'll come to your home or office, and we'll discuss what challenges you're facing.  We'll take a tour and talk about what you envision for your spaces.  Do you see a cozy, peaceful place to read or relax?  Are you imagining a clean, visually calming room to serve as a home office?  Great!  We'll get there, however you imagine your spaces to be.   Here's the hard part:  Don't clean!!  Seeing the areas in their "natural" state really helps me to understand your difficulties, and helps me to come up with effective, efficient solutions.  I'll come up with a plan of action that is custom designed for you, to meet your specific needs.  If you would like a "road map" of my plan of action, I'll submit this Needs Assessment/ Plan of Action to you in writing, and we'll talk some more about any questions or concerns you may have.  Often, I'll replace the written NA/POA with organizing hours, if this is better for my clients.  

Sessions

Let's get started! A typical Organizing session runs anywhere between two and five hours.  Under two hours, it's difficult to see any real progress, and over five hours is too exhausting for our minds and bodies.  If more than one session is planned, clients can make a "standing appointment" for a particular day and time. 

We have a number of different packages for you to choose from:
  • A 90-minute to two-hour Needs Assessment/Plan of Action (NA/POA)  only.
  • Our Quick Fix program consists of an NA/POA, 4 hr organizing session, and a follow-up phone session.
  • Our Power Package program consists of an NA/POA, 6 organizing hours, and two follow-up phone sessions.
  • Our Silver program consists of an  NA/POA, 8 organizing hours, and two follow-up phone sessions.
  • Our Gold program consists of an NA/POA, 12 organizing hours, and two follow-up phone sessions.
  • Our Platinum program consists of an NA/POA, 18 organizing hours, a two hour in-person follow up, and two follow-up phone sessions.

Choose the package that best suits your needs.  Often, clients will opt for an upgraded package after reviewing the Needs Assessment/Plan of Action.   If you opt out of the written NA/POA, add 4 organizing hours to the package chosen.  Power, Silver, Gold and Platinum Packages can be tailored to meet your time constraints, and are often scheduled as "standing" appointments.

A word about Organizing  TV Shows

The good: These shows are wonderful for inspiration in your own home!  The budgets they work with allow for true transformations in the clients' spaces. The time constraints allow for a lot of work in a short amount of time.

The bad:
I can't imagine any organizer in the real world coming into a client's home and gasping in horror!  This simply doesn't happen in the real world!  I've been in your shoes!  Read my "About Us" page and you'll see that my life was EXTREMELY overloaded for quite a while!  NAPO members (National Associaton of Professional Organizers) live by a code of ethics that we all take very seriously.  Ask me about it!
